Glass blowing and pressing | together with Berlin Glas e.v. we wanted to press glass using simple methods and working with structured surfaces. First tests were made with conventional waffle irons and this knowledge was brought into a design – a multifunctional lamp that puts the glass in a particularly beautiful light. By pressing together a plaster mould with a small cavity, the glass is not only blown but also pressed. In collaboration with the glassblowers of Berlin Glas E.V. this work was a first experiment and is still in process.
